My brother-in-law has recently started his own blog which contains a good bit of photography, mostly of his dog, Arthur. You see, he claims that Arthur is the best dog in the entire universe, and while that may be the case, I claim that there is no pair of cuter pooches then those that reside in my house. Thus, a rivalry was born and from it sprang the first reader judged, cross blog challenge which I have dubbed, Photo Challenge: Pet Edition.
Take a look at my two entries below (two because I have two Labradors), then click your way over to Serious Zen to see the other entry. As always, you can click each photo below for a larger version.

[...] While I have little doubt about who is the cutest and therefore the most photogenic dog in the entire universe, namely Arthur, my brother-in-law seems to believe that a canine photo challenge is in order. Apparently, he believes that his two pooches–Casey and Molly–won’t pale in the bright light of Arthur’s majesterial magnificence. Of course, you can judge for yourself by checking out his blog entry on the subject, complete with photos, and let us both know what you think. [...]

I’m going to have to vote for these two. I like the shor-thair look a little better. That’s pretty much all I can go on not having met any of the 3 candidates in this challenge. I’m sure Arthur bring a lot to the table but if forced to chose, I had to go with these. Maybe I chose these because I feel sorry for the one that is apparently in jail. Sorry Arthur - Casey and Molly win this round.

Although Arthur reminds me of my dog when i was growing up, I have to go with Molly and Casey. Why? Because Abraham told me to. That’s why.

Although my canine nieces are unquestionably cute, their combined cuteness (a major infraction of photo challenge rules) cannot compete with the organic simplicity of Arthur’s adorable presence. His long hair is only an extension and magnification of his physical beauty. And I encourage voters to look past this, especially since Arthur’s hair isn’t on their clothes. It covers my entire wardrobe, and I still vote for him.
One word: Cute!
