My New Reloading Bench

Posted in Personal on April 11th, 2008 / 3 Comments »

Last weekend I spent the majority of my time rearranging the garage in anticipation of setting up my new Dillon 550B Progressive Reloader. I had been using a single stage RCBS Rock Chucker, which was awesome and produced some amazing rounds, but came upon a great opportunity to acquire a Dillon.

I’ve only used it to reload .40 S&W, since that is all I shoot in my Smith & Wesson M&P pistols, but I imagine it won’t be too long until another caliber is added.

I almost made a boom using this thing, but I did not. Casing AND bullet please.

That is because you almost de-primed a live primer. Ka-Boom! Well actually, probably more of a Ka-Bang… I’ll let you know should it ever happen.
