I have been doing some work on my bike (contain your surprise) and figured it was time to post some updated photos. Most notably are the new Vance & Hines Shortshot pipes with black ceramic heat shields. I got rid of my old SEII’s as they were starting to wear and discolor. Another year. Another June. Another ROT Rally. If only you knew the emptiness I felt inside now that there are another 361 days until it happens again. This year marked the greatest rally going experience – EVER! I don’t even need to go into just how awesome Yellow D-116 was, as I am sure you have read about it. We had the RV spot this year, hands down. So much so that several people came up to us to tell us this… like all the activity, partying, boozing and nudity that was happening right in front of us didn’t tip us off to this revelation. more »
Despite the fact that my BFF was out of town this weekend, I decided to take a solo adventure out to some of my favorite spots in the Texas Hill Country. I had narrowed down my adventure to two possible activities. The first option being a rally in New Braunfels that was hosting a ride in bike show with a category for “stock motorcycles”. I spent a couple hours on Friday afternoon detailing Bob and even leather conditioning his seat and roll back – he was a sure win. more »
