Thanks to my extremely dedication to securing an awesome RV lot for this years rally (they went on sale at 12:01 am on January 1), Edward and I scored D116 in the Yellow lot. And to celebrate this momentous occasion, we decided to go out to the grounds, in the rain no less, and crack open a couple 24 ouncers.
Here is how it normally goes down: I’m alone at home, I start the game, grab the first of many a beer from my mini fridge, and rock out. It seems, at least to me, the longer I play (i.e. the more I drink) the better I get. The high score boards in the game also reflect this, so it isn’t just me thinking I’m awesome - or is it? Thus, an experiment is born.
Thanks to the magic of airline travel, my sister and brother-in-law were able to come down to visit this misplaced yankee for a late birthday celebration. As with any time that I have family visiting from Chicago, the weather sucked, and rained every day. The only logical thing to do was to make a long weekend out of it… drinking.
This weekend I was fortunate enough to celebrate my 30th birthday - it was a great time which will never be forgotten. I thought it might be fun to share some photos with you, which you can then use to come up with your own account of how the celebration went down.
Mike gave me such a great early birthday party last night while my mother was here visiting from Chicago. A total of 16 of us met up in Walburg, TX, at my favorite German place there for lots of food, beer, games, and live music.
