Thanks to my extremely dedication to securing an awesome RV lot for this years rally (they went on sale at 12:01 am on January 1), Edward and I scored D116 in the Yellow lot. And to celebrate this momentous occasion, we decided to go out to the grounds, in the rain no less, and crack open a couple 24 ouncers.
For you beer drinkers in the Austin, Texas area I wanted to give you a heads up on a new web based application I have written. There is a little pub in the north Austin area called BB Rover’s Cafe & Pub. Thanks in part to their massive beer selection, over 300 to be exact, there is what they call “The 101 Club”. It basically boils down to you consuming 101 different beers utilizing their extensive menu of (mostly) bottled beer. more »
Here is how it normally goes down: I’m alone at home, I start the game, grab the first of many a beer from my mini fridge, and rock out. It seems, at least to me, the longer I play (i.e. the more I drink) the better I get. The high score boards in the game also reflect this, so it isn’t just me thinking I’m awesome – or is it? Thus, an experiment is born.
This weekend I was fortunate enough to celebrate my 30th birthday – it was a great time which will never be forgotten. I thought it might be fun to share some photos with you, which you can then use to come up with your own account of how the celebration went down.
Mike gave me such a great early birthday party last night while my mother was here visiting from Chicago. A total of 16 of us met up in Walburg, TX, at my favorite German place there for lots of food, beer, games, and live music.
